Five steps, no Chinese required. We handle the filing, the translation and the CNIPA correspondence; you approve and sign.
Send your brand name, a logo if you have one (JPG/PNG, 800×800px), and what you sell. We map the right Nice classes.
We search the CNIPA register and send a written risk report and a fixed quote — free, no obligation.
You sign the Power of Attorney (we provide the form). We prepare and translate it into Chinese.
Within one business day of approval we file with the CNIPA and send you the application receipt and number.
We follow formality examination, substantive examination, publication and opposition, and report every stage through to your electronic registration certificate.
By law the CNIPA must finish substantive examination within nine months and the opposition window is three months (two from 1 January 2027). In practice it is faster. We quote the practical window and flag the legal deadline.
*Acceptance timing is typical practice, not a statutory guarantee. Examination speed is set by the CNIPA and outside our control; we report each stage as it occurs.
You have 15 days to file a review of refusal (separate service, from $499, ~6–12 months). Do nothing and the application ends — no certificate, no CNIPA refund. We assess every refusal free.
If a third party opposes your mark, we defend it; if a conflicting mark is published, we can oppose it. Both are separate services from $499.
Renew every 10 years ($299/class), record assignments or licences, and watch for conflicting filings ($99/year).
Protection in China is class-by-class under the Nice system. Our guide explains how to pick the classes your brand needs.
